Offering BIM Level 2 service to clients

Our BIM Manager, Lee Hankins, is currently undertaking training to further develop and enhance his skills as brp architects BIM Manager.

Lee is currently working towards becoming a BIM Level 2 BRE Global BIM Certified Individual through project based and on-line training that he hopes to complete in early 2018. This is in addition to the Graphisoft Certified ARCHICAD BIM Manager and the Certified ARCHICAD Professional certifications Lee already holds.

Following successful completion this certification will be valid for three years and maintained through Continued Professional Development (CPD) and will allow brp architects to offer an enhanced BIM Level 2 service to clients, allowing clients to maximise the benefits arising from the application of BIM Level 2 on their projects, including:

  • Improved decision making process and quality of project outcomes

  • Increased understanding of the assets that are being commissioned

  • A single source of as-built information and data for an efficient operational and maintenance strategy

The BIM Level 2 process can ultimately help reduce project duration, risk, improve the value especially from a energy efficiency perspective, as well as helping to reduce overall project cost, and we are looking forward to utilising BIM Level 2 standards with your future projects so we can offer you the benefits that are available to you.
