FC Seagrave victorious at Tournament

On a sunny day back in June, FC Seagrave were pleased to take part in a prestigious junior football tournament held at The Kingpower Stadium – home of Leicester City Football Club.

Giving the youngsters an opportunity to experience a proper matchday experience as a player was something the squads of both age groups thoroughly enjoyed. Highlights including visiting the 1st team changing rooms, sitting in the dugouts as well as walking out on to the pitch using the players’ tunnel accompanied by the matchday anthem and team news announcements via the PA system!

The day’s activities were capped off with the younger age-group being victorious in their respective category and walking away with their first tournament silverware! Congratulations to all involved.
