BRP Architects are pleased to announce the internal promotions of both Richard Woolford and Lee Hankins, following the retirement of Alan Sankey on 30 June 2024. As of 1 July, Richard has stepped up to become a Director, whilst Lee has become Associate Director. Both will work alongside Chris Woods and, as part of a Management Team, will collectively be responsible for the continued evolution and development of the practice as well as delivery of projects across various sectors, including residential, healthcare and veterinary.

This represents the start of a new chapter in the history of the practice, and I am excited to see what the future holds for the years to come. Although both Richard and Lee have been part of BRP for many years, and are familiar with the DNA of the practice. I welcome the drive, ambition and fresh ideas that both will bring to their new roles. It goes without saying that we will clearly miss Alan in a day-to-day role, but I am pleased that he will be retained as a Consultant and continue to be on hand to offer valuable input and insights into the specialist healthcare sector as he has done throughout the last 35 years. Whilst we never know what is around the corner, especially in these ever-changing economic landscapes, I feel confident that the business is in a good position and is well placed to grow and develop further over the next ten years or more

As we formalise the changing of the guard, we want to take this opportunity to wish Alan a happy and healthy retirement as well as passing on congratulations to both Richard and Lee – roll on the next incarnation of BRP!
