Our team

“All the team we dealt with were thorough, knowledgeable, and supportive in the face of adversity. We could not recommend them more highly.”

Mark Wilson, Private Client

  • Chris Woods

    Director / Architect

Chris is a follower of most sports, predominantly football through a lifelong support of Arsenal (for his sins). Whilst his football playing days are long since behind him, he still tries to play a round of golf when he can.

Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, although a lot of this time is currently taken up by the large amount of renovation work needed on their new family home...however, all work stops if someone suggests going to the pub for a beer!

  • Richard Woolford

    Director / Architect

Richard is an experienced and dedicated individual who started brp architects as a student and has progressed through the company up to becoming director in 2024.

When not at work he has a keen interest in cars both new and old. The majority of his spare time is spent with his family, however when time allows, he enjoys watching motor sport, kayaking on local waterways, and playing tennis at his local club.

Richard also has a passion for photography which often involves climbing to the highest point wherever he goes!

  • Lee Hankins

Associate Director / Architect / BIM Manager

Lee is a keen gadget enthusiast and architectural photographer. He can often be found immersed in the Apple Store and tinkering with smart tech, or laying on the ground capturing that next interesting angle shot of one of our latest projects.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time outside with his family and hosting many BBQ’s throughout the year, even Christmas Day!

  • Alan Sankey

    Consultant / Architect

After more than 36 years at Brp Architects, 24 of which as either a Partner or Director Alan has passed on the day to day leadership of the Practice to relatively more youthful, but highly experienced hands, to continue to drive the business, explore new avenues and establish and build new relationships.

Whilst now having greater opportunity to both enjoy other passions and spend more time with family and friends, Alan remains a valuable resource to the practice and business with an emphasis on providing ongoing links for legacy projects and historic clients.

  • Amanda Rogers

    Accounts Manager

Being a country girl, the outdoor life and horses have played a major part in Mandy’s recreational activities. She has competed at many equestrian levels and is now an active member and enthusiast of the local point-to-point. Mandy also enjoys running, gym, socialising and a good Netflix series.

  • Andrea Frost

    Architectural Technologist

Outside of work and family life Andrea is a keen baker – some of her greatest personal achievements are producing wedding cakes for close friends.

When she is not providing freshly baked sausage rolls for the office she also indulges in other hobbies such as crochet, playing the piano and enjoying a few glasses of Hoegaarden after a day on the piste.

  • Daniel Bent

    Senior Architectural Technologist

Outside of the office, Dan spends a lot of time with the family as they have a very busy schedule.

He’s a very keen squash player and plays regularly, sometimes challenging the directors to a game, albeit (politically) without success.

Music has been a large part of his life playing both guitar and drums. He has played in live bands for many years making good friends and lasting memories along the way, and has also inadvertently annoyed many by his subconscious constant tapping out of a rhythm whilst at his desk!

  • Emma Devine

    Receptionist / Admin Assistant

The two things Emma enjoys the most are travelling and dining out. When she is not able to do those things, she loves watching her son play football.

Working out and eating well are important to Emma, but by contrast she also enjoys prosecco and a good Netflix marathon.

  • Architect

    Joe Jeacock

    Architect

Joe has recently re-joined BRP following a stint living and working in Oxford whilst his then fiancée (now wife) completed her Town Planning Doctorate. In his free time Joe likes to travel to as many places as possible that he hasn’t already visited, with history and architecture play a big part of the locations he chooses; it is however, the food that is the main attraction.

Reigning champion of the brp fantasy football league, he is hoping for more challenging competition in the upcoming seasons.

  • Joey Halls

    Architectural Apprentice

Joey’s hobbies include baking, painting, photography, and nights out with friends. He is very family oriented having a big family including their English Bulldog Benson.

Having recently completed an Arts Foundation Course he is pursuing an Architectural Apprenticeship at the London South Bank University on day-release. The additional studying and project work involved, occupies much of Joey’s spare time.

  • Jonathan Arksey

    Senior Architectural Technologist

In his free time, he enjoys exploring different European cities and relishes the occasional adrenaline boost from climbing or white-water rafting. Being a keen snowboarder he loves carving down the French Alps in winter, particularly off-piste runs and always followed by plenty of après ski. With a young family, he enjoys getting outdoors in the woods and messing about together at home.

  • Kevin James

    Senior Architect

Kevin has over twenty years of experience working in architectural practice, the majority of this has been as an RIBA Chartered Architect. During his career he has worked on a variety of projects across many sectors including, education, commercial, industrial and residential, varying in scale from luxury barn conversions to multi-million pound city centre developments.

In his free time, he enjoys open water swimming as well as surfing (complete with obligatory VW Campervan) with family and friends; escaping to the West Country whenever he can.

  • Michael Walkling

    Architectural Assistant

Michael is a keen long distance hiker, and has walked Wainwrights Coast to Coast (198m) in 14 days, the entire Leicestershire Round (101m), as well as trekking through Knoydart, the most remote and desolate area in mainland Scotland. In his spare time he also enjoys the general creativity of woodworking.

With a toddling daughter, and having recently got married to his longstanding partner, he is very much settling down to family life. Michael is one of the longest serving members of brp.

  • Architect

    Robin Moran

    Architect

Since becoming a qualified architect, Robin has enjoyed using her free time as an opportunity to learn new skills; from knitting and fishing, to learning to ride a motorbike, she always has a new hobby on the go.

Robin likes to travel as often as possible, whether it’s her annual trip to Turkey, a quick break in Oxford or Liverpool, or exploring new countries. When she’s at home, you’ll either find her with a book in her hands and her cat on her lap, going to the gym with her new husband, eating out with her family and friends (undoing her efforts at the gym), or undertaking never-ending DIY projects around the house.

  • Safwan Sheikh

    Architect

Aside from his current architectural endeavours and study time, Safwan enjoys physical activities such as the casual morning jog or a kick-about with friends, as well as keenly following Football and Formula 1 in his downtime.

  • Subrina Fernandes

    Architect

Subrina joined our team in Autumn 2022 coming from a predominantly residential background, including master planning, large-scale housing developments, bespoke houses, Class Q conversions and private house extensions.

In her spare time, she likes to continue her creative approach through her artwork, whether it be painting, sculpting or via digital media. On occasion she can be seen out running or at her local gym.
